Rev. Matt Hilgaertner

Pastor Matt has been serving at PCC since April 2025.  He previously served as a pastor for churches in Sherwood, NE Portland, Lake Oswego, and Peachtree City, GA.  He also serves as the Vice President of International Hispanic Ministries, based in Vancouver, WA.  Matt has been married to his wife Kris since 1997, and they moved to Oregon in 2000.  They have two grown sons and one daughter-in-law.  Matt is originally from Thousand Oaks, CA, and graduated from Whitworth University and Princeton Theological Seminary.

I am the 5th generation of my family to live in the Hood River Valley. My background is in administration and bookkeeping. I have been married for 2 years. I enjoy time with my Husband, family, & dogs. As well as reading, cooking/baking, cross stitch, puzzles, and walking.
